Eating Well with Gleaned Flavors (Amaranth!) with Chef Rebekah Peranio

  • Resilience Incubator 1760 Mound Street Sarasota, FL, 34236 United States (map)

Chef Rebekah is bringing flavor to foraging!

Explore physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of cooking with a discussion and demonstration on amaranth, inspired by “The Flavor Bible” by Andrew Dornenburg and Karen A. Page.

Chef Rebekah has been creating culinary delights since she was very young. Always curious about the kitchen, she learned beside her grandmothers and Martha Stewart on PBS. Her formative years were spent in rural Central Florida, a home garden always within reach, seasonal whole foods have always been her inspiration. Today, she shares her passion for clean seasonal eating, and helps transform the individual relationship to self-care, through cuisine.

Potluck at 6 will include a dish from Chef Rebekah, and do please bring something that makes your heart sing to share!
