Community Drop-off

Ready to start composting? We invite anyone from our community to drop off their food scraps at our community compost stations located at:

  • Arlington Park

  • Gillespie Park

  • WSLR Radio Station

  • Pinecraft Front Yard

  • Limelight Community Garden

Contact for us at info@sunshinecommunityharvest.org for site access details, instructions, or to learn more!

Drop-off sites are locked and required access codes for use.

Ongoing station service is funded by community investment.

Participants are encouraged to contribute to their preferred location fund at a level that is meaningful to them. Donations support ongoing service and maintenance for the sites, but are not required to use the site.

Emerging Compost enthusiasts and leaders

Sunshine Community Harvest strives to shape our work in ways that ensure the long-term sustainability of our programs and services, while building resilience within communities and the food system. Our hope is to move beyond just recovering resources to building soil, growing food, and creating community connections. We also want to ensure the right educational resources, programs and tools are accessible to as many people as possible so we can expand upon the new wave of emerging compost enthusiasts and leaders.
